Last week in addition to our necklaces for Mother's Day, the children drew a portrait of their mother
or other parents, grandparents, siblings and fiends who touch their heart and make them feel loved and cared for. I love how these portraits came out! The children have been doing a lot of self portraits at school, so it was wonderful seeing how they portrayed others in a picture.
In addition to drawing their portraits, the children were given a wooden frame that they used liquid watercolors on. The liquid watercolors were so vibrant and beautiful, it created a nice frame to honor the portraits.
The children were so excited to give their pictures to their parents that I was only able to get a couple photographs.
